The Cornerstone Residence Recovery Home for Veterans is located at 622 Delaware Avenue, Clairton, PA 15025.  The property was purchased in 2018, and after yearslong legal battles to obtain an occupancy permit, we are finally able to open our doors to veterans in need of clean and sober living.   This house is unique as it serves only veterans.  During the years waiting to open, we discovered that veterans often choose not to enter a recovery home because they aren't comfortable speaking about deployments and service time with those who did not serve.  The Cornerstone is a welcoming home where they can find camaraderie with like-minded men and feel comfortable telling their stories.  Those entering the home must have completed MAT and submit a clean urine upon entrance.  You fought for our freedom, and we'll fight for yours.

The Cornerstone is a non-profit established for veterans who have completed treatment and are committed to living sober lives.  Even for the most highly motivated individuals, destructive living environments can derail recovery.  We offer a supportive environment where veterans can work toward healing and transformation, reconnect with their families, and become integrated with their communities.  Create new habits and learn new skills in our gym, learn something new in our library, get creative in the workshop, or enjoy spending time with our therapy dog, Recon.  We are looking forward to serving you.
